Description:

The main focus of this role is to give great customer service to fellow students as well as staff and faculty. This student will assist the Disability Resource Center (DRC) staff in day-to-day functions of the office and will also have the opportunity to engage with the administration process of the DRC; including:

  • Demonstrate high-level service when answering calls and sending emails, data processing.
  • Provide administrative support to DRC staff.
  • Handle sensitive/protected information with care and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Must be detail oriented, self-driven, and have the ability to adapt to changing pressure.
  • Must possess strong computer skills.
  • Must possess strong written communication skills.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills.

This internship is part of the Summer 2026 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.
